Innovation Grants - Programme Two - Community Led Innovation

Shetland Charitable Trust Original Source

About This Opportunity

The Shetland Charitable Trust Innovation Grants Programme supports communities and organisations to experiment, think differently and try new ideas. The scheme specifically targets community-led innovation where the word 'innovation' refers to the practical implementation of ideas that result in the introduction of new outputs, activities, or services relative to the applicant organisation. Innovation Grants are one-off awards up to a maximum of £3,000 per applicant, designed to support local initiatives driven by and responsive to the needs of the Shetland community. The grants can cover costs associated with activities or necessary equipment for implementing innovative initiatives. The programme aims to positively impact one or more of the Trust's Quality of Life goals including enabling strong and resilient organisations, community wellbeing, individual wellbeing, support for disadvantaged individuals, and generational fairness. The Trust has a long-term perspective focused on ensuring that activities and facilities become embedded in the community to ensure sustainable value to Shetland's residents.
