INNOVATIONSFONDEN 2026

Innovationsfonden (Innovation Fund) is an annual funding program by Region Stockholm that distributes 15 million Swedish kronor to projects that create benefits for Stockholm's residents, patients, and travelers. The fund provides all employees an opportunity to contribute to the development of healthcare, traffic, culture, and growth and regional planning. Since its start in 2015, the Innovation Fund has received more than 1,300 applications and over 580 projects have been awarded funding to develop and test new services, products, ideas, and methods within Region Stockholm's operations. Applications are accepted for both new ideas and projects that are already underway (new applications, continuation applications, or implementation applications).
