Innovationsstöd till företag för en cirkulär ekonomi

This grant program provides innovation support to companies for the circular economy. It finances research and innovation projects led by companies working with knowledge organizations to address business-specific challenges through knowledge development, including test and demonstration activities. The program aims to strengthen research and innovation capacity in small and medium-sized enterprises through industrial research or experimental development. Companies participate as project partners and receive direct financial support for R&D-related costs, while project coordinators receive support for overall project coordination. Projects should contribute to reducing waste, recycling resources, and creating sustainable energy and food systems. The focus is on circular economy transformations, including bio-based raw materials, innovative biomass use, local value chains, and integrated solutions combining climate measures with product development. Projects must align with smart specialization areas in Skåne and Blekinge regions and contribute to the circular economy transition.
