This funding opportunity supports projects that promote renewable energy and develop smart energy systems in Upper Norrland (Norrbotten and Västerbotten counties). The program aims to accelerate the transition to renewable energy and smart energy systems through innovative projects. Projects can focus on renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydropower, biofuels, or energy storage, as well as initiatives to develop smart energy systems. The funding is available under two specific objectives: 2.2 - Promote renewable energy, and 2.3 - Develop smart energy systems. Projects should ensure that results benefit many stakeholders and contribute to long-term benefits for the region. Both implementation projects (up to 40 months) and feasibility studies (up to 12 months) are eligible.
