Instrumentfondet

Instrumentfondet er en statlig støtteordning til innkjøp av instrumenter, transportkasser til større slagverkssutstyr og større vedlikehold av instrumenter. The fund supports school bands, youth orchestras, and musical groups where at least three-quarters of performing members are 26 years or younger in the application year. Priority is given to groups where three-quarters of members are 19 years or younger. The program is administered by Norges Musikkorps Forbund (Norwegian Band Federation) and funded through gaming revenues allocated to cultural purposes. Eligible applicants include school bands registered in the federation's portal, bands affiliated with Korpsnett Norge, youth orchestras, and unorganized groups meeting the age requirements. The grant covers instruments and cases for large percussion equipment, but excludes sheet music, music stands, uniforms, mouthpieces, drumsticks, and instrument repairs.
