International Accommodation Award

The International Accommodation Award is a housing scholarship offered by Aberystwyth University to international fee-paying students. This award provides free accommodation in the university's on-campus Cwrt Mawr housing for the first year of study. The award is available to students studying Bachelor's degrees (3 or 4 years) and Master's degrees, with PhD students also potentially eligible subject to specific conditions. All on-campus rooms include utility bills, Wi-Fi, and free Platinum gym membership at the University's Sports Centre. The award applies only to Cwrt Mawr accommodation and is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must accept their offer to study and apply for accommodation by stated deadlines. Bachelor's students receive accommodation for 39-40 weeks, while Master's and PhD students receive 50 weeks. From the second year onwards, students must pay standard accommodation rates. Students receiving other scholarships covering more than 50% of tuition fees are not eligible for this award.
