International Baccalaureate Excellence Scholarships

The International Baccalaureate Excellence Scholarships are prestigious awards offered by Imperial College London to exceptional international students who achieve academic excellence in the International Baccalaureate diploma programme. The scholarships provide a bursary of £5,000 per annum for the duration of undergraduate studies. These awards are designated for students applying to the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Natural Sciences, or Imperial Business School. There is no separate application process - academically excellent IB applicants will be nominated for selection by the Imperial faculties and departments during the admission process. The scholarships are awarded to the highest achieving students, with academic merit and potential to succeed at Imperial taken into account during the nomination process. Twenty-three awards are available for the 2026/27 academic year. Successful candidates will be notified starting from mid-May 2026, and continuation of the scholarship is subject to maintaining satisfactory academic progress as defined by Imperial.
