About This Opportunity

The International Baccalaureate Scholarship is awarded to entering freshmen at Mississippi State University who have received an International Baccalaureate Diploma. The scholarship recognizes academic achievement through the IB program and provides financial support based on the student's IB Diploma score and standardized test performance. The award is structured in three tiers: Level One provides $1,500 per year for IB scores of 30+ with ACT 26+ or SAT 1230+; Level Two provides $2,000 per year for IB scores of 35+ with ACT 28+ or SAT 1300+; and Level Three provides $2,500 per year for IB scores of 40+ with ACT 30+ or SAT 1360+. All levels require a minimum 9th-11th grade GPA of 3.0. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years (8 semesters) provided the student maintains a minimum overall college GPA of 3.0 and continuous full-time enrollment of 12 credit hours per semester at MSU.
