International Internship Grant

The International Internship Grant is awarded to Global Studies and International Studies majors at UW-Milwaukee who are participating in credit-bearing, in-person internship opportunities abroad. This funding supports students gaining international work experience as part of their academic program. Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and provide documentation of their internship placement through a signed agreement between their site supervisor and their UWM academic advisor. Awards are distributed on a rolling basis throughout the year, with varying amounts based on program participation. Students are encouraged to notify the program coordinator upon application to ensure prompt review. The grant provides financial support up to $2,000 to help offset costs associated with international internship experiences.
