About This Opportunity
The International Peace Scholarship (IPS) Fund provides scholarships for international women students to pursue graduate study in the United States or Canada. The scholarship is based upon demonstrated need and supports women who will return to their home countries to utilize their education to make a positive impact and foster global peace. Awards are made to international students who are enrolled and in residence at accredited colleges or universities in the U.S. or Canada for a full academic year, with at least one full year of formal coursework remaining. The scholarship is not intended to cover all academic or personal expenses, and applicants must demonstrate additional financial resources to meet estimated expenses through personal and family funds, tuition waivers, work, teaching assistantships, study grants, and other scholarships. Announcement of awards is made in May, with an eligibility period from September 15 to December 15.
