About this opportunity
The International Response Scholarship is offered by Goldsmiths, University of London to support students with refugee status or active asylum applications in the UK. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support to enable access to higher education for refugees and asylum seekers. Successful applicants receive a £8,825 annual allowance, full tuition fee waiver for each year of study, and accommodation fees covered for a single study bedroom in Goldsmiths halls of residence (up to £200 per week). The scholarship is available for both undergraduate and postgraduate taught degree programs at Goldsmiths. Up to four scholarships are awarded annually, with two designated for undergraduate students and two for postgraduate taught students. Applications from Ukrainian applicants seeking refuge in the UK under special Home Office arrangements are also considered. Selection is competitive and based on both academic record and responses to application questions, with consideration given to the diverse backgrounds and experiences of applicants.
