International Scholarship Programme of the Avicenna Studienwerk

The International Scholarship Programme (ISP) of the Avicenna Studienwerk, in cooperation with the Islamkolleg Deutschland, supports international Muslim students and doctoral candidates with funds from the Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt, AA). The aim of the programme is to create optimal conditions for academic qualification, social commitment and personal development through financial and non-material support. The programme provides 16 scholarships annually for Master's degree students and doctoral candidates enrolled at German higher education institutions across all fields of study. Scholarships are awarded for the entire duration of the Master's programme (standard period of study) with possible extensions, while doctoral studies are funded for a maximum period of 3 years (36 months). The programme offers both financial support including monthly scholarships, healthcare allowance, and travel allowance, as well as non-material support consisting of individual counseling and participation in the educational programme of the Avicenna Studienwerk.
