International Tuition Fee Scholarships (RIFOS and RRITFS)

RMIT offers two international tuition fee scholarships for research students: the RTP International Fee Offset Scholarship (RIFOS) and the RMIT Research International Tuition Fee Scholarship (RRITFS). RIFOS scholarships are funded by the Australian Government and RRITFS scholarships are funded by RMIT University. These scholarships provide tuition fees for research degree candidates pursuing PhD or Masters by Research programs. When applicants apply for a research scholarship through one of the University's rounds, they are automatically considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of a competitive selection process that ranks applicants according to their academic achievement, research outputs and relevant professional experience. Recipients must be international students who meet English language requirements and will be enrolled and primarily based at an RMIT Australian campus. The tuition fee scholarship is typically partnered with a stipend scholarship which provides a living allowance.
