International Undergraduate Scholarship

This entrant scholarship is for students with an Overseas fee status who will be studying at St Andrews for an undergraduate degree beginning in 2026. The scholarship will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction for each year of the student's undergraduate studies and will be awarded based on financial need. Applicants must meet two or more of several criteria including being able to demonstrate a case for financial need, having previously received needs-based funding, coming from a neighbourhood which is classed as a socio-economically disadvantaged area, having a physical, unseen or learning disability, or being part of a minority group. The scholarship is only available to students entering their first year of an undergraduate degree, including direct entry into year two of the course, but it does not include students transferring from another institution. The award provides up to £10,000 towards tuition fees per year and is paid annually for the duration of the student's undergraduate programme.
