About this opportunity
The International Postdoc grant within humanities, social sciences, and educational sciences aims to provide newly graduated researchers with a doctoral degree from a Swedish university the opportunity to expand their network and competence by working abroad under secure employment conditions. The grant also rewards the quality and renewal of Swedish research. Funded researchers will spend at least two-thirds of the grant period at a host institution abroad while remaining employed by a Swedish institution. The program supports individual researchers who have completed their PhD within the last 2 years or will complete it before the grant period begins. The grant provides funding for salary, accommodation during the stay abroad, additional cost allowances, and research costs up to 150,000 SEK per year. An additional 50,000 SEK per year can be requested for accompanying family members. The funding period is 18-36 months starting in January 2025.
