About This Opportunity

The International Postdoc in Artistic Research grant provides newly graduated researchers with a doctorate from a Swedish university the opportunity to expand their network and competence by working abroad under secure employment conditions. The grant also rewards the quality and renewal of Swedish research. The grant is intended for individual researchers who have obtained a doctoral degree within the last 2 years, or who will have obtained their degree before the start of the grant period (by December 31, 2026 at the latest). The purpose is to support early career researchers in artistic research to develop their skills, independence, and international networks by conducting research at a foreign host institution for 18-36 months. The grant covers salary, accommodation during the stay abroad, cost-of-living allowances according to URA rules or equivalent costs, and a limited amount for research expenses. An additional allowance can be requested for accompanying family members.
