About this opportunity

Interreg Aurora is a European Interreg program for cross-border cooperation from 2021-2027. The program provides significant opportunities for new and exciting collaboration in the border areas between Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Sápmi. The overarching goal is to contribute to cooperation across national borders, thereby strengthening the program area's competitiveness, sustainability, and attractiveness through social inclusion, digitalization, and green transition. The program area covers the traditional Sami region – Sápmi – which means the program is an important resource for preserving and developing Sami culture, traditional knowledge, industries, and especially the Sami languages. The program supports collaborative projects within smart and sustainable growth, green and sustainable transition, education and culture and sustainable tourism, and better cross-border cooperation.
