About this opportunity

Interreg Nordlig Periferi og Arktis (Northern Periphery and Arctic) is a European interregional cooperation program for the 2021-2027 period that supports transnational projects in Arctic and Northern peripheral regions. The program aims to strengthen cooperation and development across participating regions in Northern Europe. The program finances projects in three main priority areas: strengthening innovation capacity to develop robust and attractive local communities, strengthening capacity for climate adaptation and sustainable use of natural resources, and strengthening organizational capacity in the NPA area to develop good cooperation opportunities. Projects eligible for funding must involve partners from multiple regions within the program area, which includes northern parts of Finland, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom, as well as Greenland and the Faroe Islands. The program promotes cross-border collaboration to address common challenges and opportunities in these peripheral and Arctic regions.
