Interreg Nordlig Periferi og Arktis (Northern Periphery and Arctic) is an international cooperation program for the 2021-2027 period that finances cross-border projects in the Arctic and Northern Periphery regions. The program focuses on developing robust and attractive local communities, climate adaptation, sustainable use of natural resources, and strengthening organizational capacity for collaboration across the program area. The program area includes regions in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Greenland, Faroe Islands, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. Projects must involve partners from multiple eligible regions to foster transnational cooperation in addressing common challenges in peripheral and arctic areas.
