Interventions to Address Disparities in Liver Diseases and Liver Cancer (R01 - Clinical Trials Optional)

This initiative supports multi-level and/or multi-domain intervention research to reduce disparities in liver diseases and liver cancer among populations who experience health disparities in the United States. The program seeks to address healthcare disparities through research interventions targeting underserved populations. This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is being reissued in accordance with the simplified review criteria in effect for application due dates after January 25, 2025. The grant mechanism is an R01 research grant, which is the original and historically oldest grant mechanism used by NIH.
