About this opportunity
The Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC) Doug Stevens Public Policy Graduate Student Scholarship was established to assist students pursuing a Master of Public Administration or a PhD related to Public Administration. The award encourages graduate students to develop a commitment to public service, experience collaborative research, advance managerial acumen, and sharpen leadership talents. The scholarship honors Doug Stevens, who obtained degrees at the University of Regina, Carleton University, and University of Toronto, and worked for the Government of Saskatchewan before founding Fax Direct in 1992. The scholarship will be awarded to either two part-time students at $4,300 each, or one full-time student at $8,600, with recipients selected based on enrollment at Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, demonstrated creativity and innovation in public administration, minimum 80% GPA, and financial need.
