Irfan Qureshi Memorial Award in Computing Science Education

The Irfan Qureshi Memorial Award in Computing Science Education is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education specializing in Career and Technology Studies: Computing Science. Selection is based on academic standing, with preference given to students with demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship. This endowed award was established by the Qureshi Family in memory of Irfan Qureshi, who was a dedicated teacher with the Edmonton Public School Board from 1995-2018. Irfan was a lifelong computer and technology enthusiast with a love for the arts and an interest in combining these passions to encourage his students to achieve their individual dreams and create a unique path forward.
