Isaac and Leah Weinlos Prize in Surgery

The Isaac and Leah Weinlos Prize in Surgery is awarded annually to a student for superior academic achievement in third and fourth year Surgery. The award recognizes excellence in surgical studies and is contingent on the student maintaining an otherwise satisfactory academic record. This endowed prize was established by the late Dr. Weinlos and Mrs. Morris Weinlos and their daughters. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
