Ivan W. and Mabel Blum Weaver Scholarship

The Ivan W. and Mabel Blum Weaver Scholarship supports non-traditional, adult students enrolled in the Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) program at Eastern Illinois University. Two recipients are selected annually, each receiving $1,500.00. The scholarship is designed to assist adult learners pursuing degree completion through interdisciplinary studies, with particular consideration given to those with financial need. Recipients must maintain a GPA of at least 3.5 and remain in good academic standing. The scholarship is renewable, allowing recipients to receive the award again in subsequent years if they continue to meet the eligibility criteria. The award is announced in the Spring semester and disbursed in the following Fall and Spring semesters.
