About this opportunity
The Ivor Petrak Scholarship was established in memory of the late Ivor Petrak, a senior vice-president of Canadian Pacific Hotels Corporation and general manager of the Banff Springs Hotel. The award is offered by the University of Calgary with support from friends and colleagues of Ivor Petrak.
This scholarship is offered annually to continuing undergraduate students in the Haskayne School of Business with a Marketing concentration. Students must demonstrate academic merit in a minimum of four full-course equivalents. For students in the Co-op program, merit is based on courses taken in terms one and four of the Co-op program. For non-Co-op program students, merit is based on courses taken in the most recent fall and winter terms.
Preference is given to Co-op students on international work term placements. The award provides up to $2,750 and two scholarships are available each year. Students are nominated for this award through the Fall Undergraduate Nominated Award application process.
