J (Jack) Longworth Scholarship

The J (Jack) Longworth Scholarship is awarded annually to an undergraduate student with superior academic achievement overall in Civil Engineering at the University of Alberta. The scholarship specifically recognizes academic excellence in structural design coursework, with the recipient being the student who achieves the highest mark(s) in structural design course(s). This endowed scholarship was established by the Civil Engineering Class of 1955 on the occasion of their 40th year of graduation, honoring Jack Longworth through contributions from his classmates, former students, colleagues, family, and friends.
