J. & Jackie Thornberry Online Scholarship

An annual scholarship awarded to one Perimeter College student at Georgia State University. The scholarship recognizes students who have successfully completed online mathematics courses, including Learning Support Math classes and college-level mathematics classes through GPC Online. Recipients must have achieved a grade of C or better in at least one required Learning Support Math Class and one college-level mathematics class, both taken online. Preference is given to qualified students who have taken both Math0097 and Math0098 online, though Math0098-only students may also apply. The scholarship aims to support students who have chosen the online learning format for their mathematics education and demonstrated success in this modality.
