J Roger Flumerfelt Leadership Award

The J Roger Flumerfelt Leadership Award is to be awarded annually to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering the second, third or fourth year of studies of any undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership through involvement and participation in university or community organizations. Preference will be given to a student with demonstrated intention to use the funds to attend conferences, seminars or other student activities that promote understanding of greater Canadian unity and East-West goodwill or alternatively for international goodwill. The award is funded through endowed funds from a bequest from the Estate of J Roger Flumerfelt and the University of Alberta Alumni Association.
