About This Opportunity

The J. Sayer Minas Entrance Scholarship is an undergraduate entrance award offered by the University of Waterloo for outstanding students entering Year One in the Faculty of Arts. One scholarship is awarded annually with a total value of up to $5,000 distributed over eight academic terms. The scholarship provides $2,000 in the first year of study and is renewable at $1,000 per year for three additional years, providing sustained financial support throughout the undergraduate degree. Renewal is contingent upon the student maintaining a strong academic average of 80% or higher. This scholarship is available to students entering programs within the Faculty of Arts, including Global Business and Digital Arts, Honours Arts, and Honours Arts and Business.
