J W Turnbull Faculty of Engineering and Design Entry Level Undergraduate Scholarship

The J W Turnbull Faculty of Engineering and Design Entry Level Undergraduate Scholarship provides $5,000 to support New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents in their first year of full-time undergraduate study. The Scholarship was established in 2025 and is financed by the JW Turnbull Engineering Endowment. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to support students in their first year of university and to encourage excellence in the study of subjects in the Faculty of Engineering and Design. Eligible programs include the Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS), Bachelor of Urban Planning (Honours) (BUrbPlan(Hons)), Bachelor of Design (BDes), or associated conjoint degrees. One scholarship is awarded annually, and recipients do not need to apply as it is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
