About this opportunity
The J. Warren Perry Endowed Scholarship Fund honors the late Dr. J. Warren Perry, who served as Dean of the School of Health Related Professions from 1966 until 1976, and his brother, the late Dr. Charles D. Perry, Professor Emeritus of Classics at the University of Alabama. The Perry brothers generously contributed funds to the University at Buffalo Foundation, Inc. to support scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students in the UB Departments of Exercise & Nutrition Sciences (ENS) and Rehabilitation Science (RS).
This scholarship is designated for exceptional students who have demonstrated outstanding meritorious achievements that go above and beyond standard academic performance. Past recipients have held UB Assistantships, UB Club Board positions, or similar distinguished qualifications. The award recognizes students who have shown significant leadership and engagement in their field.
Eligible applicants include undergraduate Exercise Science students in their senior sequence and current ENS or RS graduate students who have completed at least one semester in their program of study. Students who have previously received the Perry Scholarship are not eligible to apply again.
