Jack Hirst Scholarship

The Jack Hirst Scholarship is a prestigious award offered by Imperial College London's Department of Chemistry to Nigerian nationals studying or researching in Chemistry at Nigerian academic institutions. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support for students pursuing postgraduate taught Chemistry Masters programs at Imperial College London. This scholarship covers full tuition fees at the Overseas rate and provides a stipend equivalent to the annual UKRI rate, enabling the recipient to focus fully on their advanced studies in chemistry. The award is specifically designed to support the academic advancement of Nigerian chemistry students and foster international collaboration between Nigerian and UK academic institutions. One scholarship is awarded annually for full-time study in any of the eligible Chemistry Masters courses, including Advanced Molecular Synthesis, Biological and Physical Chemistry, Catalysis, Chemical Biology, Digital Chemistry, Drug Discovery, Green Chemistry, and Nanomaterials.
