Jack K. and Marge Hatfield Scholarship

The Jack K. and Marge Hatfield Scholarship supports students from Unity High School in Tolono, Illinois, with a preference for incoming freshmen interested in Business. The scholarship is awarded annually in the Fall and announced in the Spring. Recipients must be graduates of Unity High School or its successor institution. Preference is given to incoming freshmen pursuing business-related majors, including Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance, Management, Marketing, and related fields. If no suitable incoming freshman is identified, current Eastern Illinois University students may be considered. Financial need serves as a final consideration when all other factors are equal. Recipients may reapply for the scholarship in subsequent years, though preference will always be given to incoming freshmen. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship upon completing the General Application through the Eastern Illinois University scholarship portal.
