Jack L. Payan Scholarship

The Jack L. Payan Scholarship is awarded to community college transfer students majoring in Communication Studies at Eastern Illinois University. The scholarship prioritizes students transferring from Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois, or South Suburban Community College of South Holland, Illinois. Recipients must be enrolled as speech communication majors and must have transferred from a community college. Awards are announced in the Spring semester and paid the following Fall semester. This scholarship supports students pursuing various communication specializations including communication in organizations, corporate communication, interpersonal communication, mass communication, public relations, health communication, and television and video production.
