Jack Monaghan Family Community Leadership Award

The Jack Monaghan Family Community Leadership Award is an annual scholarship awarded to an Alberta resident with satisfactory academic standing entering the second, third or fourth year of a degree program in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sports and Recreation at the University of Alberta. The award recognizes students who demonstrate leadership qualities through involvement in extracurricular and community activities while maintaining academic standing. Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need. The scholarship is funded by endowed funds established by family and friends in memory of Jack Monaghan.
