About This Opportunity
The Jack Neal Prize is awarded to students with superior academic achievement continuing in a Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering degree. This endowed prize was established in honour of Mr. Jack Neal (Electrical Engineering 1952) to encourage and motivate students toward the need for effective written and oral communications skills in the electrical and computer engineering disciplines. Selection is based on academic standing in course work in technical communications (ECE 491, 492, or 495), demonstrated community involvement, and leadership skills. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship portal.
