Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship

The Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship provides a multi-faceted experience designed to address the financial needs of students who aspire to attend college while guiding them through the process of higher education. Beyond financial assistance, JRF Scholars receive extensive support services throughout their college careers, including curriculum guidance through the 42 Strategies for Success program, career mentoring, internship placement, and practical life skills and leadership training. The scholarship program offers hands-on mentoring services with JRF staff, volunteer Scholar Advisory Committee members, corporate and university partners, community leaders, and JRF Alumni providing year-round individualized support. Additional opportunities include the Rachel Robinson International Fellowship for international service and study, the Extra Innings Fellowship for graduate or professional training, online and regional programming with webinars and workshops, and internship/job placement assistance through JRF sponsors and institutional partners. Scholars are required to perform community service work throughout their JRF experience, gaining practical skills and self-confidence while impacting thousands of lives through their projects. This merit-based academic scholarship allows recipients to attend any accredited and approved four-year institution within the United States.
