Jacob Spyker Memorial 3rd Year Carpentry Scholarship

The Jacob Spyker Memorial 3rd Year Carpentry Scholarship is awarded to third-year carpentry apprentices at Red Deer Polytechnic. This scholarship recognizes students who have attended the Carpentry program in the most recent academic year and are continuing their studies in the subsequent year of the program. The scholarship is made possible through the Jacob and Rita Loreen Spyker Memorial Endowment. Applicants must maintain a minimum grade of 74% and demonstrate financial need. Additionally, candidates must show demonstrated leadership through community and/or school involvement. Two awards of $1,500 each are available annually. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the Red Deer Polytechnic scholarships portal. No separate application is required beyond the General Application.
