About this opportunity
The James A. & Laurette Agnew Memorial Award provides funding support to outstanding graduate students in the Faculty of Science and the School of Medical Sciences at the University of Victoria. This award is designed to support students attending conferences, presenting at professional meetings, or undertaking field research. One or more awards are given annually based on academic merit and nominations from eligible academic units. Recipients are approved by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee following recommendations from the Dean of the Faculty of Science, in consultation with the Head of the School of Medical Sciences and Chairs of the Departments of Biochemistry & Microbiology and Biology.
