James B. Curtis Memorial Scholarship

The James B. Curtis Memorial Scholarship supports Political Science majors at Eastern Illinois University who have been approved for study abroad, student exchange, or Washington Center internship opportunities. The scholarship requires recipients to be full-time students in good academic standing who are majoring in Political Science. Priority is given to applicants demonstrating the greatest financial need. This award is announced in either the Fall or Spring semester and disbursed in the following Spring or Fall semester. The application process requires four essays covering the applicant's approval status, specific plans, timeline, estimated costs, and how the experience will contribute to their academic and professional goals.
