About this opportunity
The JCR Continuing Education Scholarship (CES) is awarded to graduating seniors who will continue their academic pathway at a post-secondary institution of their choice in pursuit of a career in aviation. This scholarship specifically targets high school students from Polk County, Florida who have demonstrated commitment to aviation through volunteer service and extracurricular activities. Once awarded, recipients are eligible for three additional years of funding contingent upon their submitting updated documents for the respective school year. This makes the scholarship renewable for up to four years total, providing ongoing support throughout a student's post-secondary education in aviation-related fields. The scholarship is offered by the Aerospace Center for Excellence, a non-profit organization based at Lakeland Linder International Airport in Florida.
