James D. Balfour Scholarship in Civil Engineering

The James D. Balfour Scholarship in Civil Engineering is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the second year of study in Civil Engineering at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated community involvement. This endowed scholarship is funded by the Balfour and Buchanan Families and is administered by the Faculty of Engineering. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the university's scholarship platform.
