About This Opportunity

The James Fisher Adult Education Scholarship is awarded to select School of Education (SOE) graduate and/or international students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The scholarship supports students enrolled in the Administrative Leadership: Adult, Continuing, and Higher Education Administration (ACHEA) program within SOE. Applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA and maintain academic merit with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Strong preference is given to non-traditional students and those who intend to work in community-based, non-profit management and leadership roles. The scholarship was established by James C. Fisher '79 and Barbara C. Fisher to support students pursuing careers in adult education administration.
