James Hantak Scholarship

The James Hantak Scholarship fund supports graduating seniors with special needs from Columbus City Schools, Upper Arlington High School, or volunteers/athletes from Lancaster Special Olympics. This scholarship is specifically designed to assist students with disabilities in pursuing their educational goals at trade schools, vocational schools, or colleges/universities in the United States. Strong preference is given to students with special needs, particularly those with physical rather than developmental disabilities. Additional preference is given to students from Lancaster City Schools and to those who have been athletes or volunteers for Lancaster Special Olympics. The scholarship aims to provide educational opportunities for students who may face additional challenges in pursuing post-secondary education.
