James M. Schooler, Sr Scholarship

The James M. Schooler, Sr Scholarship was created by the Beta Theta Lambda Chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity as a scholarship endowment designed to encourage young African American men to excel academically and pursue a four-year college degree. Applications are available to African American males living in Durham County, North Carolina. This scholarship supports students planning to attend a 4-year public or private college or university. The scholarship is restricted to male students who are residents of Durham or Orange County in North Carolina. There is no minimum GPA requirement and no high school restrictions for applicants.
