James P. Kent Scholarship

The James P. Kent Scholarship is awarded to a student who has completed the first year of full-time studies at Red Deer Polytechnic and who is continuing in the second year of full-time studies in the Bachelor of Arts Program. Eligible majors include any discipline in the Humanities or Social Sciences Department, or general B.A. The scholarship recognizes academic achievement with a preference for students who display an aptitude for applying Alberta expertise and values nationally or internationally. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application, making this an accessible opportunity for qualifying students.
