James Strong - IAG Scholarship for Business

The James Strong - IAG Scholarship for Business is valued at up to $27,000 over the course of study, providing $9,000 per year to support highly-qualified commencing undergraduate business students. Established in 2013 by a generous donation from Insurance Australia Group, this scholarship supports emerging leaders with a demonstrated interest in business and contributing to their community. The scholarship is tenable for three years, plus an additional year for completion of the Bachelor of Advanced Studies (where applicable). Recipients must be domestic students planning to enrol full-time in a University of Sydney Business School undergraduate coursework degree and have achieved an ATAR (or equivalent) of at least 97 in the NSW HSC or equivalent. Selection is based on academic merit, demonstrated leadership skills, community involvement, and an interest in business. To maintain the scholarship, recipients must enrol in 24 credit points each semester and maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark of 75. Recipients are also required to submit an annual 200-word statement summarizing their involvement and impact in leadership and community spaces.
