About This Opportunity

The James Wolfensohn Travelling Scholarship supports students embarking on an approved exchange program in Asia. This scholarship was established from donations to celebrate when James Wolfensohn received an honorary degree of the Doctor of Science in Economics in September 1997. The scholarship aims to promote international understanding and advance the academic development of students by enabling them to spend part of their degree in an approved overseas institution where they will undertake studies. The scholarship is valued at $5,000 and is tenable for one semester only, paid in a single instalment. No application is necessary as students applying for exchange programs via Sydney Abroad are automatically considered.
