About this opportunity

The Jane Sekulski Scholarship is designed for new incoming first-year students at UW-Milwaukee who are graduates of Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS). Applicants must be admitted by February 1st, be residents of the City of Milwaukee, and demonstrate financial need by filing a FAFSA. The scholarship provides priority preference to students pursuing degrees in music or music education. If no music applicants qualify, second preference is given to students pursuing education degrees leading to teaching careers. Third preference goes to nursing degree students. Double majors outside of these three areas are not eligible. This is a non-renewable scholarship providing a one-time award of $2,000 to help support students as they begin their undergraduate education at UW-Milwaukee.
