About this opportunity
The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) has established the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowships for Research in Japan – Standard program. A limited number of promising early career researchers are given the opportunity, through this fellowship, to conduct research at Japanese universities and in designated research institutions and laboratories. NSERC serves as the Canadian nominating authority for this program. The fellowship supports excellent, innovative and impactful research that advances knowledge and understanding and responds to local, national and global challenges. NSERC recognizes that equity, diversity and inclusion principles are foundational to research quality and impact, and these principles are integral to the program's mission.
